For those of you who missed Michael Morpurgo at the WHOLE EARTH? launch…

…here’s a video which captures part of the excellent launch day activites. Another video and a podcast of this opening speech and the public lecture that followed are on the way, but in the meantime, here are a few photos.

We’d just like to say thank you to everyone who came along and to all those who worked to make it happen. The WHOLE EARTH? exhibition is only on the Canterbury campus for three more weeks, though, so pop over and see it while you still can! It will be spending November and December split between our Broadstairs and Medway campuses, before being shipped off to one of our partner organisations, Kerala State University in India!

And, if you’re interested in getting involved with developing some responses to the University Challenges, or you’d like to let us know what you think of the wider project – drop an email to – we’d love to hear from you.
